The National Allergy Research Center is the organization that is involved with the ongoing development of the national database Allergen. Here, data about the occurrence and treatment of contact allergy from hospitals is collected and accumulated. Partially built on data from two legacy systems, the database covers almost 30 years of experience and research in the field of allergy.
The system has been enhanced with data from GP specialists in allergy that is collected via a Web-interface.
We have also delevoped a secure web application for guidance and monitoring of eczema. The Application presents a number of new ideas within telemedicine that may result in improved service for patients and savings because more time and resource consuming outpatient care can be avoided. It is part of the assignment to host the application over a period of time. The application is in Danish named HudRask. It was developed and made operational in less than 3 months.
